Request deletion of your rider or driver account and associated data
Hamba Rides users can request deletion of their account and associated personal data. This page applies to the Hamba Rides rider app and the Hamba Rides Driver app.
If you can still sign in, the fastest option is to delete your account directly inside the app. If you cannot sign in, you can send us an email request.

We may contact you to verify that you own the account before processing the request. We will not ask for your password.
After your request is verified and processed, we delete or anonymize personal data that is no longer required, including:
Some information may be retained when required for legal, tax, accounting, fraud-prevention, safety, or dispute-resolution purposes. This may include transaction records, trip records, payout records, and records connected to an unresolved support or safety matter.
Transaction and accounting records may be retained for up to 7 years where required by law. Other retained information is kept only for as long as necessary for the applicable legal or safety purpose and is deleted or anonymized when it is no longer required.
We aim to complete verified deletion requests within 30 days. If a legal reason prevents immediate deletion of certain records, we will retain only the information required for that purpose.
